If i were you, i really would seek out a truck with less miles. also, fleet vehicles are usually driven hard and die young.

Thanks for the reply "machine". I wandered about fleet vehicles - they are driven short distances. Usually they are maintained on a schedule though. I am not in a hurry - I will continue to look for something with 60-80K on it.

Cheers,
Shawn

What happens at 70mph?

Being a fleet vehicle you figure it was maintained on a schedule. So 145k isn't so scary sounding.

Wow 300K is impressive - that 4 banger must be built well - guess I get answers from no to go - as I thought I would. If I can find one w/ lower miles and same price I will; however, I will keep this one on the list. I agree - before buying all you can do is a thorough inspection and go for it. $4900 won't break the bank - and with a warranty I am good for two years. Probably cheaper than keeping this Blazer.

Thats what I thought - regular maitenance is good. And the thing just looks clean engine and all.

AT 70mph i get a ticket thats all - it could have went more if I wanted but limit was 55. No shimmy or anything.
