Default triumphant moments

I created this to hear some bad as story about a time when your ranger gave it itís all and came out on top. This thought has been in my mind because today in IL we got 2 feet of snow in IL of all places well that besides the pointÖ.

This morning I got up shoveled out ( snow that was as deep and my waste because of the high winds last night ) and got in my ranger not five minutes into the drive to go shovel my grandmaís house out. I see a new 2011 Chevy 2500hd diesel burred in a snow bank to his mirrors. So me doing what I would want anyone else to do, I go up to the man and ask if he wants a helping hand, long story short the man laughingly got out of his truck. I then spent the next 20 mins convincing him I could do it with my " tonka toy " his words not mine, and in fifteen mins I had him hooked up out and on his way. It took longer to explain the fact that I could do it then to hook up get him out and unhook. Man do I still feel good about it to

So letís hear some stories!!

That's a good story for sure.
My ranger impressed me today just by being able to drive on unpaved expressway lanes and plunge through snow plow berms.

I didn't pull anybody out but I did run up and down my street methodiclaly tamping the snow down for everybody since the plows never make it to the residential areas. Some of the drifts were 3 ft deep and I was impressed with the '09 Sport 4x4's ability. I got stuck once but was able to rock myself out. The 4.0 will spin them tires! We got 12" here in Snowklahoma City with drifts of up to 6 ft thanks to the 60mph winds that accompanied the storm. It's supposed to be minus 5 tonite. I've only had it a week and for once in my life my timing was spot on. The truck actually handled better than my 4-runner cause the Toy has front and rear lockers. I can unlock the rear but the front has an ez locker and that gives it a mind of it's own in the snow. Helluva storm.
