Unfortunatley that isn't the new (Mazda made) 2.3

I have looked at all piping coming off the intake & throttle body & am still not finding it on my 09.

Guess I will crawl under it & try to find the pipe the leads from the exaust to the EGR.

I've read that online. would anyone care to comment if it actually works? or is this another gimmick like the tornado thing in the intake tube?

ohh. best bet would be to call up the ford mechanics at your local stealership and they might be able to tell you where it is on the new ones

I got a K&N cold air intake for my 2002 Mazda B3000 (3.0L Ranger) and you don't really notice the noise or extra HP till about 3000RPM and up. It improves gas milage a bit but if you have a heavy foot it will make it worse.

K&N isn't cold air man. I had one on my 4.0. Stock or Volant is true cold air.

I personally would not get an intake until way later after exhaust and ud pullies and just before a tune. An intake alone won't do anything for most cars. Maybe extra noise that makes you think you are going faster but that's it. On turbo or supercharged engines an intake might help greatly.

^I'm looking for it too, I read that little page posted earlier, and it seems like such an easy HP gaining DIY mod, I can't wait to find it. lol.

And also, does my truck have a paper filter or a cleanable filter? what is a replacement part size if I want to clean it out, I'm thinkin' it's gone +40k miles without ever being serviced.... so I garuntee it's robbing my 4 cylinder POWER.
