so i got into an accident, long story short i was taking a left out of a side street with a super high snowbank and got hit by a car coming around the snowbank. there was no way i could have avoided it by being more careful.
anyway, my bumper is folded in, so is the body panel, and i need a blinker. being a student i'm trying to find the cheapest way to fix this, can i bend the bumper and body back? i found blinker housings for like 15 bucks online, but a new bumper is like 150. i don't really care about how it looks, but i need to pass inspection this month and i cant do it without a blinker.

Www.car-part.com search all salvage yards in the state. May find some cheaper.

you can try bending it back, my friends dad did that to two vehicles though he took off the panels and bent them back with a hammer.

selling the truck this summer and buying a new ranger hopefully.

the bumper you can bend back, the body panels will be a little more tricky so if you can find a cheap replacement panel go for it, other wise you can hammer on it to make it work.

i need to pass inspection in the next 3 days too, is there some way i can make a temporary blinker? the housing shattered and the corner is a bit of a mess, can i just put a light bulb into the exposed socket or something? how picky are inspections? will they care that my bumper is hanging out in the wheel well?

they sell tape at the auto parts store for a REALLY cheap fix passed inspection up here
