Question light strips under tailgate.

for those who have installed the "line of fire" or what ever name the package said it was. how did you mount them to the truck i bought one and when i have my tailgate down there's no room for it. did you have to loosen the bumper and lower it down a little for clearance or how did you do yours?
if i had a body lift then i know it would fit perfect.guess that's my next mod.lol

Mine fit perfect prior to lift

I didn't attach mine the way the showed cause if you have to remove the spare tire u have to take it off to get it down

the little lip on the tailgate get some double sided tape and attach it that way

Mine fit fine without a lift. Also had a little bit drilled off to allow access to the spare tire without having to remove it. Mine was held on with some foam tape...it only lasted maybe 6 months or so and the tape gave out, probably just my fault for not getting it clean enough before installing.

I don't know if they all do this (not really my cup of tea) but I saw a Silverado the other day with one of these, and half of the strip blinked with the signal. That was pretty cool.

yea that's the way this one is supposed to do blink with the turn signals and then the whole thing lights up with the parking lights and gets brite with the brake light.
