+1 hardest part for me too... I just had to keep remembering the cut was for the base which gives you a decent margin as the console is larger than the base.

Extra set of hands and eyes is great for double checking everything is good...

Wiring was pretty simple the only pain I had was finding the wire I wanted to tap into as I wanted acc power...

Yes the sensor is in the front under the plastic lip underneath the drivers headlight. It will have a white/blue wire and a white/yellow wire. You have easier access to it from going underneath the truck. Try to cut it leaving alot of wire for you to butt splice new wire into it when you do the install

whatever, the easiest part of the entire thing was cutting the hole in the headliner. everythng after that was a pain in the ass especially drilling the mounting holes in the exact spot they needed to be.
it took me like 12 hours to do mine.

valuable tip----make sure those t-taps actually cut through the wire insulation! mine didnt at first even though they were locked shut.

Good luck on the install. Just place the OHC up on the headliner a few times to verify where you want it to then begin cutting. Start cutting small and slowly make it bigger after trying the bracket in there.
