Default Truck steers harder after 3" Bodylift?

A buddy of mine had a 3" body lift installed on his 2008 Ranger Sport 4x4 at a local shop and now finds that the steering is much stiffer than before the lift is this normal experience after a body lift? He's running the same tires as before lift as well 245/75/16 on stock rims.

Also, his shifter has alot more play in it after the shifter extension was installed is this normal as well?

These two issues have be concerned about having a BL installed on my truck!?!

I would check the steering extension and see if it is correct.

I dunno about the shifter extension

If I was him I would return it to the place that installed it and have them look at it. How much did he pay to have it installed?

I would say steering ext. is the culprit. Prolly bound/pinched up

Here are the instructions on installing a lift. Look to verify the steering extension is the same.

No the truck was the exact same as it was before the lift.

Both my trucks ended up being a little stiffer when it is centered up and i move it about an inch either way then it goes back to normal. Its fairly common, but if its stiff the entire time turning it then I would definitely have it looked at.
