Ford Warranty

So here's the deal got my truck in Nov. every now and then the cluster icons all light up and the gauges go dead for a second or so then comes back on, had it to my stealer they took the cluster apart shook it around and reinstalled it, said they couldn't find anything wrong, a week later the same thing happened, took it in, I think it just sat there and nothing was done. it is doing it again sometimes it will go for a week or two before it happens. Called the stealer and they said to wait till it gets worse so they can find the problem. This is starting to piss me off can't they just change the module that controls the cluster and go from there? what do you guys think?

Make sure you tell them if you get a speeding ticket, they can pay for it

Any other dealerships around you can go to?

You have a way yo video it while it is doing it? That way you can show them your not weird and it is doing it.

Tried that by the time i get my cam out it is allready reset, but i will keep trying

Try another dealership if you can. A Ford warranty is honored at any location....

this is specific to PA.give the dealership a chance to fix it but dont let them BS you around any longer.

MAKE SURE WHEN YOU GO TO DEALERSHIP THAT YOU GET PAPERWORK STATING "CUSTOMER CONCERN" and that it shows mileage and date so that if it really breaks after warranty period it can be fixed under warranty even if it breaks completely after the warranty period because you noticed there was a problem during warranty period.

Wow I didn't that "Customer Concern" documents could help you even after warranty has expired. I will make sure I note that so I can ask my dealership with any issues my truck may have in the future.

Haha well it must be frustrating.. I wouldn't stand for it.. Brand new truck acting up like that.. shouldn't have to put up with it for any period of time.

^ haha i had same thoughts, i had a 2011 mustang v6 that 3 dealerships refused to fix...long story...but that post brought back some memories...
