check engine light
my check engine light came on yesterday and my code reader said 2522 but i cant find my book with the codes. can anyone tell me what this means?

take the truck to an autozone and have them test it. when they test it they put it on the computer and it tells them what the code means

I just looked at my Haynes book & dosn't have 2522 listed, he's right advance, auto zone etc will do it for free. Infact I just had it done today (cam shaft sensor) I need to go back to have them clear it or have it be another code. Would be my luck.

Here is the info from Ford's 2004 PCED On Board Diagnostics
Your code P2272 - Lack of HO2S-22 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean See the description for DTC P2270. See the possible causes for DTC P2270 P2270 - Lack of HO2S-12 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean Description: The downstream HO2Ss are forced rich and lean and monitored by the PCM. The test fails if the PCM does not detect the output of the HO2S in a calibrated amount of time. Possible Causes: Pinched, shorted, and corroded wiring and pins. Crossed sensor wires. Exhaust leaks. Contaminated or damaged sensor. No Diagnostic aide information provided Hope this of some help...
