Leaf springs help pleas?
I have a 99 ranger single cab 4x4 with the 4.0 (auto).The suspension is shot I need to get shocks and I also have 2 broken leafs 1 on each side.
I want to beef it up a bit since it is a work truck but whats my best option? is 1750lbs really need? can the axel handle that much weight? This is what I'm looking at *link*. Also will I need to buy new U blots? any other hardware needed? I'm newb and diy thanks.

I know some people use chevy 1500 leafs should be plenty for work and every time you un bolt a u bolt you are spouse to change it.as far as shocks I would go blistien

i have allways reused my u bolts just make sure there tight
