just have to ask who here has towed a lot and how did the truck pull and what size motor i have 2.3 L4 and door jamb sticker says gvwr 4870 truck is like 2900 and me at 6.2" and 320 lbs that leaves like 1650 lbs i could tow right my trailer is 940 lbs my gold wing is wright a 1000 lbs and that's over gvwr plus i got like 200 lbs of gear and bags for a trip what do you think should i try to pull this to Texas or have bike shipped? would love to try guess if my Lil ox brakes down i can take off on the bike to get help or allways call for help so please tell me what you guy and gals think

That is a long way to travel with such a heavy load

If it was all freeway you may be fine but trying to stop is gonna be very hard

i'd have someone drive your truck and just ride the bike yourself if you have someone going with you. you could allways fly back and ride the bike later....my $.02

greyghost can rember the last time i did that but we call it the iron but decathalon and at my age it ant giong to happen three days in a truck is bad enough but on a bike even a gold wing you are asken for hemroids lol thanks

I don't think I'd recommend that, but it's not impossible.
