I think December 2011 was that last year for the Ranger here in the USA.
Of course they are still made in Mexico, Europe, and Asia.

2012+ Rangers are going to be made in America still. Ford made the Rangers full sized and adopted a small diesel engine and that is exactly what they did with the 3.2 PST(Ford f150 w/ 3.2PST is the new ranger....). Sure it's not called a Ranger but if they still made Rangers in America and they were like the ones made then you wouldn't notice a difference. The Ranger has lost its way and hope they re make them like 2011-

The problem is that Ford was all like "if we stop making the Ranger everyone will be forced to buy the F-150!! mwahahahahaha" and then all us compact truck buyers were like "Hmm I guess I'll go buy a Tacoma or Colorado or something since they don't make Rangers anymore" and then Ford was all "Hey wait, what the - FUCK!" and it kinda backfired.

They didnt stop making the Ranger, they just stopped US production of the Ranger. Rangers are still made and sold in many other countries, like Mexico, Panama, Argentina, and other European and Asian countries.
They just figured us rich Americans would just stay loyal to Ford and buy an F-Shity.

Well by small truck buyers I mean guys like use with forums (and our lives) dedicated to our little trucks, and EVERY FREAKIN AUTO PARTS STORE IN THE COUNTRY. They all use Rangers, and so do most of the shore towns in NJ for lifeguard vehicles, pest services like them because they're actually compact trucks and easily accessible beds .. I see dozens of Rangers on the road everyday, and at least half are business owned. I thought they held a decent market. And now that they stopped selling them in the US I see more and more Advance Auto Colorado's and Napa Dakota's driving around. Not the F-150's.

As far as consumers go...they all upsized their trucks just like they upsized everything else in their lives. I just feel like the current "full size" trucks are oversized. The old F-150s were plenty large enough, now they look awkwardly big and cumbersome. And the bedsides on the fullsizes (not just the 150) are like chest high on me
