...you have to take off the driver side door panel and tighten every single nut/screw to find the source of the squeaking/rattling when you shut it.

Yes. It is a little negative towards the truck, but it's seriously ticking me off. ANYONE with a Ranger over 4 years old will agree...go ahead, raise your hand...and you in the back of the forum too, I see you.

Had to do it with my '86, '92, and now the '04.

no such issue with my '02

anyways, you know you drive a ranger when you do this....

with two different rangers....

in the same parking lot.....

and cry a small tear because yours is stock and not a stepside

edit: btw if anyone can tell me anything about the yellow one let me know. It didn't have a bl (no gap in the rear wheel well) so is it just a Tbar crank or what? Not really counting the tires its got about 3 inches on me i'd say

Ok. I have to agree with this one. But, I was the guy not waving back. This lady (same year, model, color. Her's was totally stock though) went out of her way to pull over two lanes, passing three people on a city street, right next to me desperately trying to get my attention. I already knew what was coming...I decided to look over at her anyway. With a big smile on her face, nodding her head, and massively over exaggerating with her hands seemingly to say, "Look! We have the same truck!"

Ya, I get it lady, we have the same color truck. I would get it if we had a 1966 GT40 Mk II, but we don't. You and I are one of the 250,000+ to buy a Ranger every year, get over it.

Not trying to troll your post, sir. I'll talk Rangers with people, but that lady just went way overboard about something very common.

[QUOTE=yeatzee;482853]no such issue with my '02

Well, the difference probably is that I used to do a job that required getting in and out of my truck 30-40 times a day, not including normal in-n-out outside of the job. I think the driver door got a 10 year workout inside of 4 years.
