I think I will clean out the garage, so I can park my Ranger inside for the rest of the winter.

Wash the engine bay, clean the coilpack and the air filter box, look for what I think is a vacuum leak around the intake manifold, and weatherstrip my speakers. They are just attached to the doors and there's a lot of vibration whether I'm playing music or not, and the sound is very poor. I'm thinking the screws got loose, since it's been 1.5 years since I installed my speakers.

I definitely need to do that. I need to organize all of my cleaning and detailing stuff plus various parts, scrapers, touch up paint, etc. instead of throwing it all into a big ass Sterlite plastic container.

Yea, vibrations and things drive me nuts. Even when the stereo is loud and I cant hear it, I still know its there.

What brand of speakers are they?

6.5'' Alpine. My dad gave them to me as a gift. They do alright. My unit is an old Sony cdx-gt470us.

What you do is pop the little cover off and slide something in there, get it to stay and snap the cover back on.

Slide something in the hole? (Like some foam, or a shoestring) Or between the cap and the handle? (like some electrical tape) Ill do both just to make sure. Hehe.

I bought some dynamat from Best Buy yesterday. So now Im going to insulate both doors, plus the inside of the rear cab behind my speakers. Probably should have just got some Peel and Seal...but Ive heard bad things about that.

Does anyone know how hard it is to remove the entire panel where my rear speakers are?? (single cab) If not, I can just do it from the speaker hole.

I'm gonna play around under the truck and make a list of anything that may need under coating, and check for any leaks, and lube what needs to be lubed.

crank my t bars up a tad, put my shackle in, mount my ultragauge where I want it and run the cord behind a pillar plastic and dash, mount my new shocks, and mount up traction bars and finally put my new rims and 33's on lol. But I know it wont happen this weekend, and then college starts back up this monday. So hopefully by next weekend lol

Wow, that sounds like a lot to do in one weekend. Hope everything goes well.

ah aint to bad. cranking the t bars takes only a few minutes after you have done it a few times before. I just put brand new bilsteins up front and im changing shocks all around to fully 9 way adjustable ones so getting the new bilsteins off the front shouldnt be hard at all and thats it for the front. I gotta put new shocks on the rear and ill have to have my leaf springs and crap undone anyways for the new shackles and traction bars so ill just do that all at one time. (that part will take an hour or so) and then just take off the plastic a pillar and run the cord behind it so it should be done all in one day if you know what your doing. Stuff gets alil easier after having to do it yourself, trust me lol

I might install a new fuel filter. My truck has a rough idle and is starting to chug along at 55.
