shift lever indicator cable

HI guys.New to Forum.Removed old cable which was broken.In what order do I install the new cable?How does it hook up to the back of the instrument cluster panel?The loop on that end was broken so I don't know how it's hooked in there.

You have to replace the whole PRND indicator box, the cable is attached to that. The cable runs behind and then underneath the steering column, the white box attaches to the column with a screw and the wire loop hooks onto a "J" looking metal bracket for the shifter

Okay,got it now.Just received new cable.Part#F87Z7A110AA,about $40Thanks Clinton.This forum is great.Would've never attempted this without these threads!Probably saved about $150.
