Default My opinion on our trucks

Even though our trucks might not be huuuge, like a skyjacked f350 with a body lift and 38's, but even when you put 3 inches and some 33's on ours they look huge in their ratio. All though i find myself wishing all the time that i had a big 4 door truck so i could be less crammed and let more friends enjoy my truck as much as i do, when you lift our trucks they just look big. Like i feel like when people look even though youre not as tall as an *insert fullsize here* they still think damn that things lifted. And rangers look fuckin SICK when theyre lifted with some fat 12.50s pokin all out the sides. They look like little dune buggies. Everytime i go to the pit i make the big trucks look silly cause theyre just going through the middle slow and all that, im sure you know what i mean, all the while even though im going through the sides im just tearin it up drifting throw lots of spray gettin gnarly haha. Cause i notice that though our trucks arent as big as others they have lots of ground clearance. Like im almost willing to say that my pretty much stock 01 edge 4x4 has more clearance than my dads f150 lariat 2008 i think it is. So idk, i really wish i could afford to buy a big crew cab 4 door, but i still lovvve me a ranger. Someday when i am rich i will have a few different style ranger dume buggie shits, and a few HUGGGGE mosters too! haha. And also, what do you guys think about the sr5? i really like the look and stock profile compared to ours, and lifted theyre just as bad ass but you know what comes to mind? Jap pieve of shit or whatever country it aint good ol' USofA! Haha no offence to anyone im only messin around. I know im kinda randomly ranting, but feel free to respond with your own opinions/likes dislikes.

Well said....thanks for posting that. I feel like I'm at a Ranger pep rally now. Hehe.

My Ranger was a little cheaper than a full size truck when I bought it 1 year used. And I don't have a big family who rides around with me. I'm a single guy and the only people who ride with me are my son...and if I'm dating someone.

I kind of enjoy the fact that if there are a lot of people going on a road trip, they can't take my Ranger b/c they won't fit. I don't want 4 people in my backseat throwing McDonalds bags and fries on the floorboard and wiping their boogers in my truck.

My truck is just that...its MY truck. Not yours, not my family's, not my girlfriends, not anyone...but mine. Therefore I will mod it and fix it up the way I want.

That's my opinion about our trucks. It belongs to ME, and no one else.

Exactly!!!! I always say to myself, you know what, fuck everyone else. My shotgun and myself are goood, and its a nice fun enjoyable ride. My shotgun and myself are who i really care about. And it is so awesome being able to dblock people who dont want shit except rides cause i got subs in the back, and my best friend/brother is always riding shotty so i can just say hell naaaahh to anyone i want basically. Or i can flip the subs up and accommodate them

That is a really good point, specially love the boogers and mcd's.
I seem to notice when I get Into friends vehicles that's pretty much all I see. Maybe I little less boogers and more dust bunnies. But over all it's gross, makes me proud to own such a versatile little truck.
Heck in fact, If having the nice little consol wasn't so amazing to flop over and fall asleep on. It'd be gone in a flash like my older ranger. Love the fact I can still take a friend I want and not have to worry about being asked to drive my vehicle for group shenanigans.

Over all I'd say a rangers a perfect little vehicle for me and what junks left in it I can proudly point the blame at my self. Doesn't help that half the time the stuff left in the cab makes someone think my truck might be falling apart either. (spare mirrors, bags of bolts, and wiring) probably helps keep em away. Haha jk Doesn't stop me from going on random drives all the time

Of course there will always be ups and downs specially living In northern Alberta. You get made fun of way to much for owning something so tinny. just have to point and laugh when I fill them up at the pump.

Love my rangers!

I bought my ranger for the reason that I don't need a "bigger" truck that also eats more fuel... I only "tow" a couple times a year, and the rangers perfectly able to tow what I'm hauling (two motorcycles)

I just wish Ford would wake up and put some more pep and economy in this thing...sheesh, look at the stats of the mustang V6.....

I would dream of some kind of SVT Ranger using the ecoboost a "mini" raptor...but I know that's far from their list of things to do lol

I love my ranger. When I was 16 and looking for that first car/truck, I wanted a ranger. I have always loved the look of them. The 2nd Gen Rangers, that is!!!
