I just took a look at mine, and the mirror is sticking out a little at the top as yours is. I say just stick them in, and then roll up the window, making sure the door glass slides up on the side of the vent. Once you do that, the glass should provide enough pressure for it to stick.

well i just came back from autozone and they didnt have the same brand, but i showed it what was wrong and he did part number and then looked up some. we then did the computer thing and it seems like mine are for a reg cab hich mine is a ext cab. we put there brand that had correct part number next to mine which didnt pop up as correct part number for my truck and these are way longer than the ones they had. so i guess ill be having these returned and swapped for correct ones. soo i just have to wait for my bro to come back and get them and ship them then get them and then he gives them to me. ughh might be a while before i get the new ones haha.

Hmm... our local auto places have AVS ones... I had a pair, but I had to pull them off because one of the stupid things worked its way down when it got cold and they contracted a bit.

You just have to jimmy it in there a bit, why trim the mirror any? Just trim the visor...

They're nice while they last, YMMV, be sure to keep your windows up for at least 24hrs to make sure the tape is set.

there isn't any difference in ext cab vs reg cab doors. i have a set of ext cab doors on my reg cab, and my reg cab doors went on an ext cab. same with the windows and door panels. it sounds like you just just simply got the wrong visors.

my visors took 5 minutes to install and I thought that was a long time!

insert the visor starting at the mirror and work back, pushing the visor up into the channel
