How ignorant are you? You think because it is missing two cylinders and isn't in a V shape that it's less of an engine? Obviously you know nothing about diesel engines.

Oh man, I want to get involved in this so badly, buuut I'd rather not end up trashing this guy's thread.

On the original topic, I'd definitely say Jeep. wranglers are expensive, so I'd also recommend a cherokee, not a grand cherokee. The box on wheels shape never gets old, and doesn't look like soccer mom's ride. The 4.0 I-6 is a pretty good engine too, the car usually starts to fall apart around it before it dies.
