that's real good to hear. what bike you have? i was gonna get a 1125R or XB12R both sick bikes but don't feel like putting my life in danger like my sis did. used 06 gxxr 600 (cost $3500), front brake locked up at 60mph on light brakeing and then the shop said they fixed it, they didn't, and it locked up again at 10mph she pulled into a p lot at 8mph and it fully locked and she slid and totaled and bought a new one with the 7k they gave her.

mine at 90mph shakes a lot! but found my tires were at 22psi and 25psi in the front now at 35psi its stable at 80mph... though i keep to ~60 on 55mph zones and max of 80mph on a pass in a 65mph.

could be the suspension and tire combo, rear axle might get a death wobble or something idk. but on this one perfectly flat road it dosnt shake at all.

our interstate roads are bumpy as hell so could cause problems.

i'll go 80 on my way home and see how much it shakes, and go down this industrial road at 80 and see how it fares.

mine wables a little at like 30 because of my tires. check all your lugs make sure thay are tight because ive driven with lugs loose before after i changed tires. and it wablles alot at higher speeds.

ps: i tightened them up good but they came loose after time.

Almost not stopping for a car in front of me, and then getting rear ended, happened about three weeks ago.

A friend and I decided it would be a good idea to go off roading out in alpine (about an hour from home, in the middle of nowhere, about 20 miles from anyone) about 2 hours before dark. We looked at the trail for days on maps, and we decided to go for it. Got about 3/4 of the way through the 15 mile trail, and there was a huge ditch, so we got out, had a smoke and contemplated how we're gonna get over this in a 2wd pickup. Couldnt turn around or back up because it was sandy uphill backwards. So we piled some rocks in it and went slow. Got stuck instantly, slanting heavily to the passenger side and forward. My drivers side rear wheel was about 4 feet in the air, and passenger side rear wheel about halfway under my bedside. we tried for several hours to get out to no avail, and finally called my dad. At the time he had a little 2 seater and my mom, a prius, so nobody could get out there. It was about 30 degrees at the time. We told him we were just gonna spend the night in the truck and walk out in the morning during daylight and figure it out, but he ended up calling the search and rescue team, and they had to come and find us in a helicopter. The next day, we called up a friend with a built Land Rover Defender, and he came and helped me get out. He said that he was really surprised at how I got my truck out there, his truck barely made it. Took hours to make it the rest of the way out.

My check engine light hasn't turned off in 7 months. Good thing I know why, or I'd be worried.

I had the same problem. Its because your tires arent perfectly balanced. I get a little bit of the shakes around 75, with my old mud terrains I used to get the shakes really bad at 60, and I had them re-balanced and it fixed the problem. No more shakes. You might try getting your tires balanced again.

Mine has to be when i slammed into a F250 on a logging road.. one lane with a very steep hill on one side. Hit him and went into the ditch. Thank God i was on the inside.. i actually pushed him about a foot closer to the edge. Did 4500.00 to my truck and 6000.00 to his.. Scary stuff..
