Default 300k ?

Someone told me today of a Ranger going 300k. My 2003 3.0/V6 2WD has 140k and is running strong ( I hope I didnt jinx myself). My hope is 200k with proper care and maintenence. Your thoughts and experienceces? Will my Ranger go 300K?

Yes with proper maintenance they will last. Goes for any car/truck out there.

If you beat on them and dont fix thing when they first come. That is why there are recommended service intervals.

My 93 supposedly had just over or close to 300k on the 2.3. I think it was rebuilt once. but the motor was pulled before i bought the truck.

I just rolled 196k on my 95 4.0. knock on wood, nothing other than a starter and alternator have been touched on the motor. i don't think it's even had a timing chain....

I can't remeber his name, but there used to be a member over at TRS who had to drive over 400 miles each day for work. so, his 2001 ranger, when it was 2004, had over 375,000 miles on a 3 year old ranger!
