Default Brake Dust...

Here's a good question, I think...

Anyone have experience with ceramic pads? I understand they reduce brake dust. One of my biggest pet peeves...

I haven't heard anything about them, but I am the same way with brake dust. I make sure to clean my wheels about once a week. Make sure you stay on it about cleaning them because if could hurt them in the long run and make them not shine like they should.

Yup. My first vehicle that has perfect rims. I have no intentions of letting them get done up with the winter elements. Having said that I thought I'd ask about ceramics since I heard they reduce the dust significantly.

Yea, I've heard the same, but I haven't tried them, hopefully someone who has tried them will chime in.

I have never seen a vehicle throw as much brake dust as a Ford truck. I constantly have to clean the front wheels on my Ranger because they start to get darker than the back wheels.

I use ceramic brakes and never have to deal with brake dust. Can't remember what brand off the top of my head I'll have to check tomorrow.
