I know that lol, its always funny when it's not you though! Otherwise I feel his pain! I run about 6 million dollars in just cranes, I know that crap adds up fast in price. Hell I bought the last turbo for a non-electronic Cummins B series 6.7 in the world in Belgium. Turbo 1400 bucks, the shipping 400. But the machine being down alone cost 24000 dollars a day.

No the crane doesn't cost that much to run, but we lose man hours, I lose rent on the crane for renting it to the different disciplines, we lost production hours etc. It all adds up in some big retarded formula to that number.

here's a kool concept. why not stick a 3 cylinder CAT diesel engine with a 5 speed tranny and go with the same look as my avatar only on smaller scale. the average milage would be extemely high to say the least. That would be kool if Ford came out with next years model.

man what a big hole in that piston i hope you get it working A S A P.
Guys don`t try to invent by putting cat engines in pic ups cause itīs dificcult to fix on the pick up it will unbalance the all truck.
I understend you the will of having a diesel engine itīs so big that you think in all the possibilitys.Keep it thinking

That will work just as well. As long as it's a CAT diesel engine. You do know that CAT makes 4 cylinder diesel engines right? they even have turbonetics make their turbo chargers.

You talking the CataPerkins or the actual Cat engines? Lol I work for a division of Kiewit. We have the largest private fleet of Caterpillar equipment in the world. I am an equipment engineer, I have a little under 6 to 8 million dollars of equipment I help run. I have 3 cylinder diesels to 8 cylinders, that's just on my job.

I want to put a 3208 in something just for fun.

I have a 1987 Ford Ranger with the mitsubishi 4d55 2.3l turbo diesel. Its a 4x4 with a 5 speed manual transmission. The truck has no rust and has about 92,000 miles on it right now. I also have a 1985 turbo diesel ranger. its a short bed 2wd. that one doesnt run. i just bought it a few months ago not running and havent had the chance to see what it will take to get it going.
