Lol I'm a road trip king. 12 hours in a day on the road is not unheard of for me. I drove myself with a trailer across the country to here, around 2700 miles in 3 days. It'd be fun, but I doubt I'll ever actually do it. I'd rather just pay to import one

Got 2 of them, a 2 door & 4 door, both turbo 4X4. Fantastic vehicles when they are behaving. No problem in snow, love driving past the big BMW & Mercs when they are stuck

I'd love to get one, but that's not for years to come, and if nothing else I'll build my own here.

Has nothing to do with that, I can make anything work. It's emissions laws mostly that I have to pass. Besides, if I can stick a bigger diesel in that has some more cajounes if you know what I mean, then I might as well do it!

Richard - I believe that emission regs are fairly similar - does your diesel not have a higher sulphur content??
Pedro - no - U.K

Diesel regulations at the moment in the States are more stringent on some things that Europe isn't, and vice versa. Also the general population regards diesels still as stinky, slow underpowered piles of crap. When we all know the real truth.

Pedro, do you have a fuse diagram for your truck? A member on here from the UK needs the layout of the fuse panel under the glove box or behind it for hi diesel Ranger

I'm a diesel mechanic by trade. It goes vroom, I want to play with it. Diesel here is more expensive then gas (petrol, white man's fire starter, what ever you want to call it) at the moment.
