They do have a 6 speed available, and that would be 25000 with tax, tariff, legalibullshitting (ie making it legal for the US roads)

By mileage he means miles per gallon of fuel so I would guess that would be kilometeres per liter there. And the ranger I saw was an 1986 I belive with a 2.2liter non-turbo diesel and they wanted like 600 bucks for it and the only disel rangers in america are the very first generation of rangers and those vary on price

I posted some calculations on Pedro's "Introduction" to the site.

"Thanks for the info, Pedro.

I believe we have 75 litre gas tanks and I get pretty close to "Empty" at around 62 litres. With that, when I'm driving easy, I get 420 km. That works out to 19 miles/ imp. gal. (16 miles/ US gal.).

Your diesel would get 100 km/11 litres or 25.7 miles/ imp. gal. If you got 100 km/10 litres that would be 28.2 miles/ imp.gal. (23.5 miles/ US gal.).
That's pretty awesome.....50% improvement.

By the way, I like the looks of your European Ranger."
