lifting or lowering will cause camber angles to change

camber eccentrics, they come in non adjustable, and adjustable, from .5* all the way to +/- 4.0*, and this is the part number for napa, theyre about 50$ a piece - part # 264-3950, theyre pretty easy to install, jack it up, take the wheel off, loosen the jam nut on the beam, stick a pickle fork under the balljoint, and hit it, and the stock eccentic should pop out, and you can pound the new one in, and take it to a shop, ive got a picture of when i did mine, i just have to dig thru my pb to find it

Terry, he's running the old fashioned I beam IFS, not the newer SLA stuff.

Smakes has it spot on. He makes it sound easy though, when I popped the eccentrics out of my D44 TTB, they didn't want to budge. Then again, the eccentric fits into the beam itself on the D44 and D35. I think the 4x2 trucks have the eccentric in the knuckle if i'm not mistaken.

You can buy them at any carquest or napa store. You should only need to buy them if you dropping the TTB brackets and the tires are tipped in. Lifting just the outside you should be good to about 2". if you go more the factory cam bushings can be turned. Look at them and you will see the ball joint in the center of the bushing. The bushing can be turned to bring the tires in.

2wd truck have a smooth round edage that cant be turned. 4wd have a hex head that can be turned.

They're quite expensive. Smakes mentioned the adjustable ones. The pre set ones are cheaper. But you're gonna have to pay an alignment shop to check your alignment after whatever lift you do, and they can tell you what degree of eccentric you'll need, and then you go buy them, and install them.

I have heard of using 4x4 springs as a slight lift, but I don't know if there's any merit to that. Either way dude, you're spending some money to bring the front up.

thats the biggest load of bs ever, the eccentrics control the camber and caster, they have NOTHING to do with the toe, thats what tie rods are for. ANY change you make to a ttb you have to align it, go up and its positive, down and its negative. even a half inch lift coil would fuck your camber up. and the factory bushings can NOT be turned, theyre notched to sit in the gap in the beam

hey smart ass, camber top of tire tipped in/out. im not talking about toe in/out.

Factory bushings can be turned. 2wd have the pin, but still can be turned. 4x4 can be turned and have NO pin. trust me, I have TWO 4x4 rangers and one is lifted.

Ahh, I see Rangers are different. I know on the older 4x2 F-Series, they have them in the knuckles.
