Napa have all different kinds in stock usually. Depending on how much lift you have. Normally the factory bushing is set so the tire can only go in (top to the motor). When I lifted my truck I had to get a bushing that was offset AND was angled inside the bushing to bring my tire back out (to the road).

If you are just putting in a 2" leveling kit you can most likely get away with using the factory bushings. Loosen them up so that the shop wont have to piss with them. YES, you will have to get an ailgnment.

That gold colored one is way overkill if your just using a leveling kit. http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Det...50028+2028044#

I would get that one, this will give you the most effective adjustment. Since more than likely your tires will be "tipped out" after the install you will just want to bring them in.

The lingo I use for you other guys:

Tipped - Refers to the vertical position of the tire. Tipped in or out - Camber

Turned- Refers to the horizontal position of the tire. Turned in or out - Toe In/Out

Spun - Referes to the center position of the wheel in reference to the vertical line of the ball joints. - Caster +/-

You dont have to have a "degree" bushing because your not doing any crazy lifting. For a leveling kit you might be tipped out an 1-2" at most. All you want to do is move the ball joint back in. By having the thickest part facing the tire, this will bring the tire in. Skinny part to the tire will push tire out.

Best thing to do is put in the leveling kit, and see where your at. You can just stand back 30' or so and get an eyeball on how bad it is. If it is tipped out 5" then you will need a degree shim, if its only 1-2" those will be fine

here is a pic of the difference.

#1 degree bushing inside of shim is tappered - this is really hard on ball joints.

#2 Off set bushing Hole is just off-set to have a cam effect.
