Works great

Cleans the carbon out

Just pull the brake booster line and use a funnel to pour it in

Brake booster line

Disconnect it and insert a funnel to pour in Must have truck running before u pour in
start up your vehicle You will hear a lot of suction since the booster isn't connected and your engine will sound like it wants to stall out. Open up that SeaFoam and SLOWLY, pour it down the funnel. Your engine will choke, sputter, but when you feel her about to stall, that means you're pouring too much. I used half a pint(Half the bottle) for this, and you might notice your vehicle to already start to smoke. Now, turn your vehicle off, re-attach the hose and clamp, and let her sit for 5-10 mins

The instructions are on the can (but STLs pictures are way more helpful). You can also pour some in the gas tank and with the oil (requires an oil change shortly thereafter).

I dont know what year your truck is. I have read on some forums that when added to the gas tank don't have a full tank cause it will dilute it more.

Also if poured into the crankcase when it cleans the gunk from the engine you may develop a oil leak cause it will remove the gunk that is keeping the area sealed kinda messed up but it's possible

I believe this is the results for pouring it in each area someone else may be able to verify

Pouring it in the gas tank will clean the fuel system

Pouring in the brake booster cleans the combustion chamber/intake system

Pouring in the crankcase cleans all the internal engine components

I just pour half a bottle into a cup and let the engine suck it out of the cup, so I don't have to worry about pouring too fast. I then pour the other half in the gas tank. The only part of the intake and combustion chambers that the booster doesn't clean is the injectors, and thats what the other half bottle in the tank does. I personally don't like putting it in the crankcase because it can cause accelerated wear while it is in there thinning out the oil and killing it lubricity. If you keep up with oil changes, use good oil and don't run it hot or low on oil, the inside of the crankcase shouldn't get gunked up enough to need it anyway.

Mine is a '99 with the 4.0 i have 168k on the clock, i think i will just pour one half of it in the break booster and the other half in the gas tank.

I think i will use marvel mystery oil to put in my crank case for my next oil change, btw i use pretty much any brand high milage 10w 30 motor oil. and at the same time I will put seafoam in the brake booster and the gas tank.

You should really pick a brand and stick with a brand of oil
