I see that, it should either cover the front differential, transfer-case (4x4 only), or fuel tank... or maybe all 3 in separate pieces

Hey Holly... quick look at Ford.ca and build your vehicle option... looks like 4x2 has standard fuel tank skid plate. 4x4 has 3 skids...

only reason i could was because i kept such low miles on my stang! Thank god for all that garage time! 3 years 13,000 miles! And in less than a week ive already put 300 on the truck! lol

Ok ill ring in here. You "could have" afforded a 4x4, a low mileage preowned one . Your truck has the 4x4 suspension because it is a Sport, not because of extended cab. The pre 06 extended cab rangers that were not sports or edges were coil sprung fronts. Just a little information for ya

Stone is right, depends on which u have. Seeing as u dont have a transfer case, u either have the front one or the gas tank one.

nah no way i could have afforded a 4x4 new... and i dont trust used much for daily drivers we've had too much bad luck with them. I woulda been an idiot to trade a new low mileage super clean mustang for a used truck. My parents already think im mad for even trading the stang for a ranger! But im happy with it. Although if i had enough income coming in i would SO take out a loan for 12K and pick up the 05 FX4 the dealership has on the used lot..i noticed in todays paper they had dropped the price down.

Your 50% right and 50% wrong. Yes she has it because its a sport, but also because its an extcab. The regular cabs have xlt suspension.
