Just a thought
Before I type anything here I will say this. I don't know if it is true 2011 will be the last year for the ranger. I was just thinking this will suck ass. There is really nothing I can afford that can replace the ranger for me. I was also wondering if anyone here knows anything about the Tacoma or the Frontier? If they are worth buying? I just hope I get my new job soon so I can just buy a new ranger before ford tries to fuck me.

Not to rain on your parade, but this has been posted at least 30 times. Tacomas are great. The old 90's ones last forever. Frontiers are nice too.

You will save in the long run compared to the last two American quarter ton trucks. Way less repairs than the Colorado or Dakota.

my truck is more than 10 years old and looks and drives like it's less than 4.
when the time comes, I will probably buy a tacoma, if they are still available and nothing else peaks my interest at the time. many people mock tacoma's but I have never heard any real bad things about them.

out where im from tacomas get stolen a lot, which never really concerned me, and i never really thought much of it till one of my best friend's 07 got stolen about a month ago.

My salesman informed that the Ranger is indeed at its end. I got $6000 rebate since Ford just wants to get rid of everything. Its hard to say what is better. Tacomas are expensive and with all the the recalls of toyota lately its hard to look at them. I've heard of tranny and water pump problems on 05-11 Tacomas and Frontiers look cheap and have Cab problems so I would hopeyou get the last Rangers before they're all gone
