haha sorry, I ment 15..... Not sure how a 6 got in place of the 5!

I built it from a pop up camper. They are really easy to convert over. I beefed up the frame a little and I use Ac2 treated deck boards carriage bolted down. YES..alot of work. Alot of drilling. But very well worth it when finished. But be advised....my frame was all spring steel and I ate thru roughly $150 in drill bits.

you know after three problems that you brought up in relation to said, it doesn't sound like such a great truck after all, way to go find a way to disprove your argument lol

yea idk not to dis the yukon but maybe its more worth it in the end to pull with your ranger and spend money to fix it verses a new vehicle?

i'd buy that yukon, the thing looks nice and that's a steal for $3,000. a co-worker of mine used to have one just like it, but in black, he fabbed up a box out of some 2x6 lumber and some plywood & lined with a heavy tarp that fit in the back ( i think with the seats folded down) so that he could haul mulch and gravel, rocks, ect with it. it had it's own "tailgate" that would fold down in the back, and when he was done it would just slide out. more or less if the rear seats fold flat its like having a truck with a cap.

I couldn't see myself making that move - a truck for an SUV. I used to have a cap on my truck in the winter, and hated having to deal with it every time I needed access to the bed, and couldn't wait to get rid of it in the spring. Not knocking GM, or any other manufacturer, in my opinion, they all have some nice products out there, and others maybe not so good. If it were me, and wanting more towing capacity AND not wanting to give up the bed, I'd look at another truck. There are a lot of nice full-size short beds out there.

I have a Grand Cherokee WJ and love it. Its given me some problems but aside from that the 4.7 All Time 4x4 is FUN to drive. Has a nice little git up and go. Ive hauled tires and what not in mine. Threw down the blanket and loaded them up. STILL had room for the single seat to pull up and someone to sit there but Idk if I could give up my Ranger for it. Love it too much. Gas prices are going to go up and either way youll probly bitch about prices but if its something you WANT take a dive.

Nice truck and great deal... If I was in your place I'd def want to go for it and have both but if I could only have one I'd be sticking with my truck.

That Yukon looks to be about the same as a Suburban. An awesome large road behemoth..with poor mileage. We are not likely to see gas prices lower than now..only higher. Think about that....5-6 bucks a gallon would you still be able to afford to drive it much? Even if you could, could you really justify that?

Come to thing of it the way gases prices are going, it might be cheaper to have both and only drive the SUV when you need it and every other time drive the ranger. if you drive the Chevy all the time. You will be spending what you sold your truck for in no time at all. My dad had bought a brand new 1987 4runner and sold it after 6 mths because he thought he couldnt afford the payments so he got a 79 ford f150 with the 351 windsor and it ended up costing him more in gas then the 4runner payments.
