Oil Pressure Switch Location 2000 4.0
I'm in need of help again.
I need to find the oil pressure switch on my 4.0L. Last week the gauge begin to not register at start up when the engine is cold. Generally once it warmed up even slightly (15 -20) seconds the gauge would read normal.
A couple times it would not read then jumped to normal for a few seconds then dropped off again for 20 to 30 seconds then jumped back up to normal and remained there.
I pretty sure there is good pressure there cause the engine does not knock or rattle at all when this is going on.
CarQuest parts store recommends trying the pressure switch. I have a new one but not sure of the location on the engine. Some have told me its on the back of the block passenger side accessable from the top. Yet others have said it is on the drivers side front accessible through the wheel well. I don't see anything on the back, do see somethng on the front but want to be sure before I take it out.
You Guys are a huge help.
