I seriously think there is a target painted on my tailgate for idiots. Today I was sitting at a stop light and was rear ended for the third time this year. I still cannot believe that my truck has nothing more than a small scratch on the top of the bumper. The first time I was rear ended was by one of those big Chevy airport shuttle vans, the lady was texting and didn't realize i had stopped for a red light (Where I got the scratch on the bumper). She hit me at like 30 mph. Completely destroyed the Chevy's bumper, other than that I think it was ok. Second time was a Civic, and today this chick hit me in a BMW 5 series. She went straight into the trailer hitch and it destroyed her front end. I was actually on my way to my mechanic's to have new brakes put on so I had him check everything out and he couldn't find anything wrong. I truly understand the statement Built Ford Tough now and I am always watching my rear view mirror now.

O ya, no damage to me or my truck (other than the small scratch) They were relatively low speed impacts. I mean, I can only estimate, but today she was probably only going 25 mph. Just lucky the airbags didn't go off

haha, yep. The first time I got out, look at the big Chevy and was like "NOOOOOO my truck is going to be screwed up so bad", but it was fine. This time I got out of my truck thinking "man I can't wait to see how messed up this BMW is"

Dang man, that sucks. At least you haven't got any big damage in those 3 accidents.

Ya its great. I took a picture of the first one, I am trying to find it right now. Might still be on the camera in the truck. It was funny to see this huge Chevy van just totally destroyed in the front and my truck completely fine.

Yeah, you have to be careful though. I guess its illegal to do that if it blocks your license plate. If you have it in your bumper you can get a ticket for it. Before I got my hitch I used to have one there and a cop almost wrote me up for it.

trailor hitches do everything i'm beginnning to notice. I got stuck in a mud puddle this weekend. Ok, let me rephrase that, I sunk into a mud puddle up to my windows. And i had to go swimming in mud to find something to tie a tow hook onto. First thing I found was my trailer ball and it worked like a charm.

Congrats about beating the BMW, but I have to agree, these trucks doo have targets on the tailgates for stupid drivers as I mto have been rear ended 3 times. First time was by a lady in a cavalier. That was an epic fail for the front end of her car as i thinki it went under my truck crushing the whole front clip of her car. Ranger, no damage. Second time was a jeep liberty. Pushed a dent in her bumper, again nothing for ranger. Last time I was backed into from one of the newer Silverados. It rocked the ranger to the side and dented the *******es bumper up. Pretty proud of this truck.
