Which Differential Cover?
Gonna ask for a differential cover for Christmas for the truck. I have it narrowed down to 5 different one, but not sure which I want. So i need FRF's help:
1) Solid Industires 8.8 Cover (but I wont color match)
2) Riddler 8.8 cover painted to match:
3) Factory one powdercoated Red with stainless bolts
4) FoMoCo one:

Re: Which Differential Cover?
i like the solid one... to me the chrome one would kind of be a waste consideridering its under your truck so i think the chrome will just get ruined and it will ruin the look of it

Re: Which Differential Cover?
I have the Solid diff cover. Looks awsome and serves a purpose. Heavy duty but cast

Ya just take a sander to it.
Or you can take a grinding wheel to it get the highest grit you can find. So it would trash it.

i personally like the FoMoCo one the best. Or like you said with the powder-coated red one.

Re: Which Differential Cover?
FoMoCo simply because it has the lower drain plug.

Re: Which Differential Cover?
i originally voted for #1 but i would like to change my vote to the FoMoCo one. not only is it cool looking but its functional with the drain in it.
