Default Level II decal and red indicators from Tremor panel

Hi guys - just discovered this forum. Need some help. Can anyone direct me to where I could get Level II decals for a 2003 FX4 and also where I could get the red instrument panel needles that came with the 2003 Tremor instrument panel - Thanks

I wouldn't put Level II stickers on unless you go get the stuff that makes your truck a Level II, just my two cents...lol

Just make a "Want to Buy" ad in the classifieds on here:

Oh by the way, welcome to the site! We have alot of guys that do junkyard runs, they can probably find you one

Actually I did that. I bought the Edge two years ago, and then added all the stuff that comes with a Level II including the Thorsen rear, the skid plates from a wrecked Level II and installed the Bilstein shocks. The only thing missing are the slotted mags, but I like tyhe ones on it better. It was already a loaded 4X4 Edge that had most of the stuff on it already. The only major difference would be in the front where the Edge has the torsion bars rather than the springs.

you will also need to change your torsion bars from B bars to #1 bars (Level II has does not have springs; its still torsion bars, just better ones)) and possibly get your hands on a black interior to make it a "true" Level II. Either way, I would go to Ford to get the stickers as I have read the ones on Ebay fade really bad.

I agree with all that's been said. I believe that if you're gonna clone something, especially something as badass as a Level II, go all the way.

I'm currently in the process of turning my 1980 F100 Custom trim truck into a Ranger Lariat trim truck. By the time i'm done, the only thing that will be "Custom" on my truck is the tag on the firewall, and Ford's factory info. It just makes it worth that much more when it's complete.

Unfortunatly the wrecked Level II is now gone - went back a month ago and it was MIA. I had gotten the original parts approx 2 years ago. Wished I had known about the upgraded torsion bars when I got the first parts - I'd have gotten them too. Question on the black interior - is that the really dark grey interior because I have that, or did the level II have a special black interior unique to it?

I'm pretty sure (according to the 2005-2009 brochures) that the Level 11 interiors were ONLY Black. The Grey was offered in the in the FX4 but not Level 11. Just bought my son a 2005 Level 11. It's Black with Black interior and the Pioneer 290watt sound system. Im now looking for a later FX4 in Grey or Silver with the Grey Leather interior and I'll do the Level 11 upgrades.

All 2003 XLT's including Level II's have silver gauges with red/orange needles.

Check the Cert Label on the driver door under the Spring category. Level II's came with "1" bars and "C" leafs, so the code would be "1C". Depending on how it was optioned, a 4x4 EDGE could also have "1C" or it could have some other combination. The springs are computer selected on the line depending on total option content. New #1 bars retail for about $140 each.

LII's had unique interiors, almost all black including headliner and carpet. The instrument cluster and radio surrround were silver and the seats had either a blue or red cloth insert in the otherwise black buckets. Beginning in 2004, there was also an all black leather option for the LII buckets. The 2002 FX4 and 2003 FX4 Level II's with manual transmission and manual transfer case came with unique shift levers, knobs, bezel and boots. The 2004+ LII manual retained the chrome transmission shifter but the transfer case became the switch-operated Electronic Shift on the Fly like all other Rangers of the same years. Automatic LII's of all years had a standard column shifter and used the ESOF transfer case.
