Lightbulb Well>>>>>

Yes on a ratchet shifter into a Ranger (B&M Pro Ratchet into my Son's 93 & Hurst Quarter Stick into my 94), but no to the console part. Son's 93 has a bench and my 94 has Explorer buckets.

Pretty straight forward installation, you'd just have to leave the cover off the shifter & put your console around it, and probably have to use a shifter boot over it.

The B&M Pro Ratchet is the BEST floor shifter I've seen for a bench seat setup, as the shifter handle remains in the same place no matter what gear your in.............unlike my Hurst Quarter Stick or any other shifter for that matter.

Did you have any issues with hooking the cable up? i want to put a mustang floor shifter in my 93 (with the mustang dash) but am concerned about the amount the shifter pulls the cable in relation to how much the trans needs to be pulled to put into gear. make sense?

Post Re: Ratchet shifter

These shifters come with a 36" cable, theres a bracket that mounts to the trans pan that allows you to adjust it.

You can see the short slot the shifter has, it ratchets up or down but always returns to center.......NICE feature!
