Re: Found an interesting artical
look what happened when ford axed the taurus/sable...2 years later they rebadged the 500/montego as the taurus/sable and the next year they brought the taurus back completely redesigned

I hope they do bring back the ranger, even if its with out the Diesel engine, it'e be awesome. Ive read the reason we don't have the diesel option is because it would never pass the united states emission standards, and if it did, the current gas v6's would be more efficient then the diesel. I know this has been gone over, but i also know that alot of people like to read articles, if anything its something to read while on the "throne". I say take ranger off production for a few years, revamp the engine, make it more efficient, maybe a v8 option, then release it.
Just my view.

X2. Unless they redesigned it to be like the frontier as far as options go where I can get a crew cab with a 6 foot bed and a manual transmission, then I'll stick to the old POS I have.

Re: Found an interesting artical
Don't you think the marketing and financial minds of Ford Motor Company may have put some thought into this already? Some people on a truck forum are the equivalent of spitting in the ocean when it comes to their sales and marketing.

Crew cab would be nice. I was just putting this out there because some people like reading this stuff. I have my own views, and most people don't agree, and vise versa.

Ok I'll give you that one lol. I guess it's just a different point of view. Some people agree and alot (apparently) don't.
