Default Ultra gauge web site infected!

This is a heads up....

www.ultra-gauge.com the support site for Ultragauge is infected with a fake virus scanner that will load it you don't have good A/V security on your PC.

I'm not sure if it is a bad link, ad, or the actual hosting server is infected. From experience it looks like the hosting server is infected.

The sad part is I can't even notify them via their support email. It says right in their support email to NOT respond to the support email addr, it isn't monitored, instead if all else fails go to a hidden support link on their website. Problem there whole site is infected. No way I'm going to the link...

They have had problems every week since they put that site up. They were suppose to close it down about a month ago.

The site really does not offer support any ways. The ultra gauge it self is worth the money.

Update

I went to the Ultra-gauge website a few days ago to see if the virus problem was still current.

NO Virus attack or malware attack!

I just checked this morning and still no attack.

Whatever was causing the malware attack is now gone!

If your thinking you want some extra performance info from your truck, Ultragauge is worth the money, and the site seems currently safe to buy one.

You should win something for remembering that show !!!! How about a cookie...you'll have to supply it yourself though..but try to pretend that 'Eddie's Father' miraculously just handed it to you.
The Ultrascanner website issue. I have a Superchips Flashpaq. You are recommended to update it online in the booklet that comes with it. To do that you have to register..same for their forum. Well you do that..including making a password. But then your password is never accepted. Lots of posts on the www. of many complaining of the same thing. At least I'm happy with it un-updated. Where I bought it..they said they could update it when I bought it. But if the update had issues it could render it useless.
