Default has anyone used the soft topper shells?

instead of getting a fiberglass shell I found these listed and wanted to know if anyone has feedback about them.

I would hope not, watch there be a dis-claimer " do NOT use if in AZ " hahaha
I bet the plastic windows would yellow real fast though. I was not even thinking of the heat effect but yeah there is that.

Trucks! had something very similar a few years ago. It had side windows though. I dont think it collaped like that one either. But it had alot of acceries like roofracks and what not. I wanted to order one till I found out it was 1g lol

same here after talking to them the price was way too high. estimate given was 938.56 and they would throw in a duffle bag for it.

hahahaha I laughed right in the phone, not really on purpose it just struck me funny as hell at the time.

my yellow cover is kinda fadding but i think it was made bad cus the clear coat has some peeling. i dont know how long the guy before me had it on tho. id say a hard topper would be better tho. what about a black one?

I remember that show on TRUCKS . They are good for weekend stuff but day in and day out on the highway , just not sure about that .

Back in January, I moved from Montana to Texas and needed a topper to keep the snow off boxes and totes in the bed. There are two decent topper sources in my town and one did indeed have a used one for a Flareside. Unfortunately, it was blue, but I had them repaint the thing. Even with that, the price was half what a new one would've cost, plus, I didn't need to wait a month for the thing to arrive from the factory!
