Now I wish I could tell you that I know trucks, like the rest of you. But sadly I don't. I'm 18 and just got my first vehicle. I settled on a Black '06 3.0 V6 Ranger.

I can't figure out what model my truck is. It has the Sport trim but the Sport stickers that are usually above the rear tires are gone. There was no manual included from the guy I bought the truck from and it was listed online simply as a "Ranger". So could it possibly be an XL with Sport package upgrades? Is there any way to figure out what model my truck is?

I apologize if I'm coming off as a complete idiot, but I'm sure this is an easy question to answer. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not 100% but it looks like an XLT Edge

you have a sport. the sport has a color coded bumper. the xl, xlt's have the chrome rear bumper. the previous owner just removed the "sport" stickers on the rear bed sides.
