Default Mystery 'Wire/ Connection Please Help

Ok yesterday I was chaning my oil for the first time since I bought the truck about a month ago. I found this mystery connection but could not find where its supposed to plug into! It is on the passenger side right behind the front bumper, below the head light area. My headlights, blinker, and running lights all work. (The side lights dont do anything though, what are they supposed to do?) It can be seen from the fenderwell . It runs back up and along inside of the engine bay behind the coolant tank

Appears as though you're one of the lucky..... Pre-wired for foglights. a 9145 or 9005 bulb will plug right into that thing you found. Should have one on the other side as well. I'm a little surprised it's not protected with some sort of condom cover or something.

The corner light doesn't do anything but act as a running/parking light. But others like myself made it into a turnsignal....search "turnsignal mod" or "blinker mod". Yours may be burnt out if it's not doing anything at all....it's a #194 bulb to replace it.

Sweet! It may have been protected at one point, but it could have fallen off. I have seen the blinker mod you are talking about but couldnt remember what they should do without it, they def dont do anything lol. Thanks for the answers!
