Uh-huh... well for anyone else curious about this article that he is claiming is on Ford Canada's official site here is the real link to it (obviously not on Ford's site...)

Re: rangers are no longer being made
I won't believe the ranger is going out of production until Ford themselves say it. The ranger is still an excellent seller. I've been seeing many 2010's lately in my area being driven so they are still being sold well.

Re: rangers are no longer being made
Hello guys, I,m new to the forum and so is my 2010 Ranger XLT. I bought it because it has the highest EPA highway fuel economy rating of all pickups. So does anyone know how many of the "other" not so small trucks were sold compared to the Ranger in 2010?

I think your arguments would be greatly assisted with some semblence of grammar. Not saying it has to be perfect, but I shouldn't have to read through your post 5 times to get the gist of what you are trying to say.
Getting back to the topic, you are basically saying that Ford hasn't said anything (since we found out your press release is not, in fact, from Ford Canada like suspected). This is what we have been saying, let's wait for Ford to say something, until then, we will take all these articles' opinions as seriously as yours.

for some reason i can't get back to the original page from ford of canada but it had same page that stl posted as a link page showing a page from another site.it did state that ranger is going off shores from u.s.,because new 2012 rangers are the size of f150's with newer larger drivetrains and engine, and no american would buy what they could get in the f150.Maybe they'll bring back the ford courrier YUCK!

that and all auto manufactures hate cars that they make that last "too long". almost all rangers last 200k or more. that means that it prob will change owners on average 3-4 times. that means that there is a larger market for this type of vehicle and thus people making a profit off that truck and bottom line ford sells less trucks.

Just like you can not get the link about the torsion bars on your 87 ranger?

87bullsnkranger,
Just man up and admit that the info that you posted did not come from the Canada Ford site!

Re: rangers are no longer being made
I will be damned if I will ever get a new F150...I have an 88 and it won't fit in my garage..I bought my Ranger (now Rangers) because its just the wife and I, it fits the garage and its a 2 seater with a big cargo area. My f150 is used to take bits and pieces of my house to the dump. As soon as I am done gutting my house its gone.

Re: rangers are no longer being made
I too won't get a F150 or any other full size truck. My Ranger FX4 is already big enough for my garage....any bigger, I would have to park it outside.

Re: rangers are no longer being made
That's exactly why I have a Ranger & not a F-150. I can't fit a full size truck in my garage. & I LIKE parking in the attached garage

Re: rangers are no longer being made
Funny how you look at the Ford Canada page the Ranger is not the only one off the list for 2011 but the Sport Trac aswell. I would not be surprised Ford releases the F-100 people are talking about or totally redisign the Ranger. There are those who get the use out of a full size pick up and there are those who get the use out of a compact pick up. I doubt Ford wants to shy those customers away with out a subcompact. Or those customers will go to Nissan, Chev Dodge and everybody else who makes a sub compact and those are sales going out of Fords pockets.

Re: rangers are no longer being made
Parking the ranger in the garage is exactly why I wouldn't buy a F150.
If I had a garage big enough I would consider a f150.
