I'm going to go against the grain here and say that's a pretty wild idea. I think the front bumper design throws it off... if you had something that didn't hang down so far in the front and was flat on the top to match the bottom of the grille, it might look pretty cool.

I'm thinking that as ugly as it is, the small fuzzy picture is making it look better than the hack job it really is. Even if the concept made sense, which I'm not saying it does, it doesn't blend. The quarter panel looks like hammered shit and the fit and finish looks incidental.
But it is original. Not that that makes up for the fact that it's a hack job.

Thought it was a Merc myself when i read the title.
And then i saw the pic.. the custom made part is just too "aerodynamic" for the shape of a ranger, if that makes any sense lol.
