Re: SeaFoam
there are SEVERAL threads on this.
Put some into the gas tank wait till you have less then 1/4 a tank
Put some in the crankcase where you pour the oil. Will need to do a oil change after you do this.
Also put some in the brake booster.
Big round thing with hose coming off it. Remove hose and use it as a straw to suck up the seafoam

Re: SeaFoam
It's going into the vacuum hose that connects to the brake booster.

Re: SeaFoam
the vacuum hose goes into the manifold where the negative pressure is being produced. It sucks the seafoam through the hose into the top end of the engine.

Re: SeaFoam
When sucking it up through that hose. The truck will act like it wants to die. Dont allow it to just pull the hose back out of the bottle.

Re: SeaFoam
is it true you need to change spark plugs after this?

Re: SeaFoam
I don't even know that it's necessary to check them after using seafoam. It's one application. But it wouldn't stop me from doing so anyway if I had that question in mind.
The correct spelling of the word "necessary" in this post is made possible by my spell checker. Just thought I'd be real honest about that.

Re: SeaFoam
would suggest letting it "sip" in 1/3 of the can of seafoam through the brake booster vacuum hose by slowly pouring it in rather than sucking it straight out of the can. there is an informational video on their site which might make you more comfortable too. let it sit after turning it off for 10 minutes then fire it up. dont be surprised on the amount of smoke. enough comes out that you might lose sight of the neighbours house for a moment or two.
