How does the rearview mirror mount to the windshield? There looks like a plug where the allen screw would go, but i tried pulling that plug out, but it will not come out i took the mirror off of the mount and it looks like it just slides down and pops in, it is a one piece base, i am just wanting to get it all the way on the mount so when i turn my system up it doesn't walk off like it currently does. Thanks for the help.

It should just slide down onto the mount. It could be the bracket on the mirror has a little give to it. Try bending it a little so it can snap on tighter
