Mine's quite virginal.... Washington, Oregon, California, and Idaho under my ownership. Possibility of South Carolina soon though which means hey Richard, we can BS since there may be a PNW infestation in the SE! And no I won't be able to tow your boat for you. Or the Jimmy. LOL

im sure the woman driver part has to do with why the brakes need to be done every 10,000 miles or so but for the oil leaks, coolant leaks, wheel seals, interior rattles, broken buttons, inop rear defroster, horribly designed front IFS components, loud ass AC compressor, bad CV shafts, exhaust manifold leaks, the 3 sets of wheel bearing assemblys, and the fact that it cant hold an alingnment to save its life has nothing to do with the driver. lol i swear, once it hit 100,000 it was like a switch tripped and it went into self destruct mode and its been in a constant mode of drain my wallet since. i had less issues with my 93 ranger that had 245,000 miles on it. lol i know its not just mine either, my brother in laws blazer fell apart on him at 100,000. my coworkers went into self destruct mode at 70,000. o well, live and learn! lol glad you had good luck with yours, the 4.3 is a good motor, bit thats all the blazer has going for it.

I had a 91 also, the front ends are shit...period, but that SOB has 232k on it, and that was the first time anything major was done to it...head gaskets. They didn't really become quality till they got into the 98 and newer style, the interiors got a lot better as did a lot of the componentry, I have a 99 GMC Sonoma 2wd, it's only issues other then an alternator were driver caused, 113k and still running like a champ! I miss it, its in WA...maybe by Christmas I'll get her here

hers is an 01 so i dont know why its such a POS. i forgot about the intake gasket leak. i just have never seen a vehicle go to hell so fast, especially one cared for as well as my vehicles are cared for. I have vowed to never buy another GM again after i sell this one, its ruined it for me. the engine very well may run forever but the rest of the vehicle and drivetrain will fail all around it. o well, at least the 4WD works and it does handle the snow well so i feel comfortable for my wife to drive it in the snow.

That is probably the most important thing of all. It sounds like you got a raw deal...I don't know maybe I just got the picks of the litter on GM's. My Dad has a 1/2 ton 4wd ext cab with the 4.3, it's a 95, still running strong, I pulled a v10 dodge on 38s, while in reverse out of the mud with that truck. It was bad ass lol
