Suggestions?
I was wondering if anyone knew if anyone even makes replacements for those nasty imitation wood parts in older rangers, like around the gauges and stuff. Im not sure if that makes sense, but ill try to get a pic or the dash. Also it has basically stock everything so if anyone knows of any good aftermarket radios or speakers that have worked good for them i wouldn't mind a little advice. The Truck is a 1988 ford ranger Xlt 2.9L V6. Thanks in advance.

If you are going to replace them, just throw some brushed aluminum or carbon fiber parts in there. If not, look at JC Whitney!

ya ill check out whitney. I dont think i am skilled enough of have the tools to fabricate the dash parts

You don't need to fabricate the parts, they should have them to buy prefabricated for direct replacement.

ya i ordered that catalog. Its gonna take a few weeks to get here though. Also, Ive been looking for the prefabricated ones but cant seem to find em so far. If you are bored and wanna look around that would be cool, But ill keep looking.

I just was looking at Whitney and they have replacement molded dashes, dash covers and trim kits!

I was just looking at the prices and you can get the same thing for half that from JCWhitney.
