Question To good to be true?

So, I bought some great aftermarket "racing" seats and new black carpet and the racing seat company told me they would be a direct fit with my stock seats etc.. But i just found out that on my ranger (2002 4X4 xlt) the seat belt receiver is built in the seat and i would have to fab my own bracket(which idk how to do).. so i take it to a local audio shop (Mickey Shorr if you know it) and the manager there tells me that he can install it and do all the welding etc and install the carpet for 100$ cash in a day.. My dad says that if this doesn't work i cant take my truck up to school since its my fault the seats dont fit. Should I take the chance and see what the manager can do or return the seats or what? any help or advice would be great guys thanks!

If you want to spend $100...Its not hard to attach (drill a hole, run a bolt) a seatbelt to the floor of the truck.

Not that familiar with the 08 ranger. But could you drill a hole in the base of metal bracket of the seat to fit the seatbelt it? Maybe post a pick or 2. $100 doesnt sound terrible to me.

I agree with these guys, I don't think 100 would be to unreasonable though either.
