hasn't been a post here in awhile, but I have a question for the ultra-gauge owners.

Can you calibrate the unit for tire size? I have slightly larger tires than stock and its throwing off my speedomoter/odometer.

not really calibrate for tire size, but you can calibrate the mpgs and stuff my filling up, driving it empty, filling up again and entering amount it took to fill up

Ok thats better than nothing i guess lol. My current speedometer and odometer are off by 8% (checked against my gps). But I image just having the mpg readout would remind me to stop tailgating

I just used to GPS to correct me Ultraguage.

There is a distance calibration which accomplishes the same thing as other gauges with tire size options

When y'all do get it, make sure to hide wires down a-pillar or look at my thread to see how I done it

yeah, im actually thinking of hiding it in my visor, that way i can run the wire up the a-piller and when im not using it jus flip the visor up, i use the dang visor all the time anyways haha

Just got mine today!! Still haven't calibrated it and such, but noticed one thing right away...I think my TPS is bad. the lowest the throttle position 1 gauge goes is 15.3, and the highest it goes is 87. shouldn't that be 0-100%??

I manually moved the throttle all the way open to make sure the cable isn't the problem; that didnt help.

You're fine. Says so in the manual.........

My idle is tps 18.4% and WOT is tps 97.something I think. Try doing the throttle cable mod to get it at least above 90. My girlfriend's Merc at idle is tps 13.2%.

Make sure to calibrate the speed before you do anything, then the fuel consumption. I went on an 80 mile highway trip when I did the speed/distance calibration. Just punched in how many miles the gps said I did. Do highway, not city driving for this. And the longer you go, the more accurate it'll be.

Also, get familiar with the manual. There's alot of neat little tricks on this gauge
