Have they came up with a 2nd edition or when it will be released fixing the whole being able to seperate the screen from it and all that, and for better mounting options?

It doesn't say anything about that on the site itself but I'm tempted to buy the thing right now!

Still loving mine. Had a slight problem with the MPG gauges showing all zeros. Customer service was awesome about responding. Simply did a soft reset through the OBD and bammo, fixed.

Can it calculate the fuel and how much you have and have left while driving? Does it have that feature?

yes it does but you have to reset it everytime you fill up. you basically put in how may gallons your tank holds and whne you completly fill up you reset it and it goes by your mpg that its calculating to show you how much you have left. obviously it will prolly be slightly off but to answer your question, technically yes it has that feature.

Im also tempted to buy it now but my luck as soon as I did a month later they would introduce a 2nd one.

Wondering if I am doing something wrong.

Yesterday on the way to work. The gas cap light came on and the ultra gauge showed a P0455 code. which is evap system.

either gas came not on or evap system hoses damaged.

I turned it off inspected. never foundd anything wrong. Never came on yesterday on the way home.

This morning no light came on but the ultra gauge kept beeping. It said pending code. Looked on there and again said P0455 code. Why is it doing that with not light on the dash coming on? Do you have to do something else?

did you clear the code?...it may be stored in the vehicles history...if it is after so many starts it will be deleted from the comps history...

it might be stored as a history code still...if you got a buddy at a ford dealership or somn id get em to hook the scan tool to it and see if its under the dtc history and if it is clear the history

that may be why its saying its a pending code...its stored for a certain amount of time after the light goes out...after either so many starts or a period of time the code will be deleted from the history and it should stop saying pending code

Hey guys, I just got the Ultra-Gauge the other day and I LOVE it, but...the only problem I seem to be having is that according to gauge, my distance to empty is about 320 with me getting 20 MPG, however I've burned through 2/3 of a tank and I'm already at 150 something miles.

I'm wondering how accurate this feature actually is, I mean it seems to me my fuel gauge always goes through the first 3/4's quickly and then that last 1/4 tank seems to take forever but I'm not sure. It's only like a mile off of my current odometer reading as well.

How accurate are these MPG and DTE estimations in your guy's opinion?

Well I mean I calibrated the size of the fuel tank...and as far as my speed, it's pretty accurate already.

Did I miss something during the setup?
