2010 Base Mustang Vs. 2004 Ford Ranger 0-100

Tonight I raced a 2010 Base Model Ford Mustang. Not that anyone will pay any mind to this thread much like the others I post (no one ever responds), anyway my 2004 with 96k miles on it, won a race 0-100 with a 2010. If it had been a 2011 it wouldn't have been a fair match, I'd of easily lost that one. Just saying 4.0 Mustang ought to be faster, at least you'd think so. He did stay with me, but his front end was at my tail gate. Only reason I know it was a 2010 was because he turned some miles up the road, and it was blinking as the 2010's do. It had red stripes on it, I've seen many of the base models sold like that. It was an automatic. I am puzzled by this. It was a fair race, he actually took off before I did so not really that fair.

How can you go 100 mph? The Ranger is speed limited at 92 mph

I would also have to call you a idiot for racing on a public road. Thanks for having no concern for the safety of others.

on a side not i have a niece that is paralyzed from the waist down from some ******* street racing, its a really long story for another day but it happened about 12 years ago

BUT theoretically, with a good driver, and the right gearing, tire size etc it is possible for maybe a 2wd 4.0 SOHC ranger to hang with a 4.0 V6 stang. Maybe.

but the 2011, no chance in hell lol. Maybe with a supercharger and all the supporting mods and a hellovatune.

It was 3AM in the morning, this is a SMALL town. Its 4 LANES, two going one way, and two going the other. Its more or less a PARKWAY. If there were traffic on the road then I could see you people getting upset. I don't see how there was harm in doing this, this late. The speed limit is 70MPH. This guy had been on the road with me since way before it turned into a city road, following me so close it wasn't funny. So when we got on a straight away which is what the road turns into, I punched it, left him. He got up to me and flashed his lights, so I slowed down and he did. We both ended up at a light, and we both took off. There is nothing besides that one light where anyone can "pull out" in front of you. There is a big grassy median on the middle of the other side. As for my truck only doing 92, it will go to 100, and it doesn't shut off it just won't go any faster it hesitates and jerks. It was a 2010 MUSTANG 4.0. I to am surprised. I didn't think any way I could of won. No performance mods, just the throttle cable mod, and a K&N air filter with the stock air intake, and no muffler.

Lots of people die in car wrecks, this is KY though everyone drives like this, same goes for Indiana. I don't normally do anything but the speed limit.

Street racing is illegal 24/7 doesnt matter if there are people around. What about your safety or the others safety?

Yea my ranger will only go like 90mph
